I was making several stops before noticing the van wouldn't start. The engine first crank very slow and it died out. We have cable jump and even bought a new battery and it still does not work. I have tapped the starter and it just makes one or two clicks when I tuned on the ignition then it fell silent.

2000 mazda mpv engine wont turn over at all but I have lots of power
I went to start my MPV this morning and the engine would not turn over. It just went: whoo, whoo, whoo slower and slower until it sounded like it was dying out. When I came home from work this afternoon I thought I'd give it another try. The car started up with no problem. Now I don't know what to do - risk being without a ride tomorrow or take it to the shop. What could have caused this problem?
