I can't find my OBD II plug on my 2007 Mercury Mountaineer!

2007 merc mountaineer.Its exactly where the brake release is..look under the steering column at the brake release and obd connection is there with it

I'm going to take a guess and say likely to be in the passenger compartment. Sometime, they are near the glove box. You can also look under the driver side compartment. There should be a plastic protective cap. Use a flashlight.

My OBD port is not working on my mountaineer and i went to change the fuse for it and there is no fuse on that Location on the fuse panel..just wondering if this is normal. 2000 mercury mountanieer with...

sometimes you have to wigle the OBD 2 connector on the tester. Sometimes, you have a tool that does not communicate with your OBD 2 system. Go to Autozone and have them do a free scan to see if their tester works.

Fuse 17, 25 amp, yellow in dash fuse panel supplies 12v

PIN 16 Orange, lower right I think is 12v all the time.

1999 Mercury Mountaineer 'check engine' light came on after a very cold night. checked oil and antifreeze. oil was 2 qts low and antifreeze was to the top. light won't go off

Fill oil up until the check engine light goes off. If it doesn't go off by itself, have the codes scanned by an OBD-II Scanner for 1996 and up vehicles. Then, if there aren't any significant codes, erase the codes using the OBD-II Scanner.
