Electric radiator fans when cold turn igniton on fans run on high speed , it has a brand new battery and the alternater is checked ok it will not run hot and after it runs it will cycle the fans ok it will run after its cut off for a short while,,which its normal for it as from day one when we bought it,, but after it sits over night it will do this when key is turned on to start it the fans are running on high speed and will not shut off till its driven to work 10 miles after the key is cut off then its ok , then it will cycle normal again after driving it back home 10 miles just over night setting seems to cause it to do that insert key turn on in morn the fans are wide open . thats the problem. what relays do you think might be causing this or is it something else?

Assuming the check engine light is not on, I would want to know what the engine temp sensor is doing.
A scanner would tell you what the temp sensor is showing - if it is unplugged or there is a problem with the wiring the fans will run as a default to prevent the engine from overheating. It could be a fan relay but I doubt it. A relay usually works or not.

Testimonial: "ty stephen the check engine light has been on two years it now goes off when this occurs then the gas guage inside will not show any gas when like i said its driven arouind the 10 miles to work it will stop after its cut off then it will work fine , untill it sets over night it just started this and i did try one new relay to see it ,made no difference , i was told it could be the computer, not the relays as you said probably wasnt the problem, i will more than likely put it in the shop monday afternoon to leave it over night and let them hook it to what ever they do while the key is just tuirned on and both fans run on high with no air on, thank you for you help, Tom~"

Pull your battery cables and hold them together for 3-5 min. this will reset the cpu. Then try it. You could have also gotten some bad gas. Put in some heet and change the filter. this should help.

SOURCE: !996 Isuzu rodeo some times starts

When you have no spark only it could be the ignition module. when you have no gas delivery only it could be a relay. However when both are missing. It is either your crankshaft sensor or the engine computer. Good luck. also see if the injectors are pulsing.

Need to know where is the location of switch to turn on the radiator fan

1995 Isuzu Rodeo is equipped with a belt driven fan with a viscous fan clutch for engine cooling. The electric fan is for A/C condensor cooling only. The condensor fan is switched on and off by the A/C fan relay, which is operated by the triple pressure switch located in the A/C line on the left side of the engine compartment.

DO NOT
attempt to replace the triple pressure switch without first using the proper equipment to evacuate and recover the freon in the A/C system. The A/C system is under high pressure and attempts to replace parts without discharging the system can result in serious injury.

1995 Isuzu Rodeo 4x4 6 cyl - radiator electric fan not kicking on AT ALL - can't figure out where the relay is to check it. Any ideas?

You have 2 fuse panels/boxes under the hood... 1 will have the fuse to your fan. Check them both and it will be a 15 amp to 25 amp fuse. Possibly an 'Inline' fuse, so, look along the wires (2 wires) coming from the fan to the fuse box and Battery/Car Body bolt connector/ground wire. So, 3 places to find Possibly "2" blown fuses. Easy, just don't have anything metallic in your hands while working around the battery or Fuse boxes/panels. Good Luck, I'm sure you'll find/fix it.

What is the Radiator Cap Pressure for Isuzu Rodeo 1996 2.6-4cyl

Cap pressure is best determined by going to the auto parts store and buying a new one. You can ask the counter guys to look it up online before actually buying.
Most radiators today run 15 PSI, but the cap is just a safety valve, and has nothing to do with controlling the actual pressure. The thermostat does that, and if your having boil over problems, then you need to be looking to other causes (plugged radiator, bad water pump, etc.).
