Changed coil pack and plug wires. Now my car won't start. 2002 Santa Fe

Mechanic told me it was reading a 4 which meant I needed to replace the coil pack (only one) and the plug wires (2). So I did that. Now the car will not start. I checked to see that everything was connected, and I disconnected and re-connected as I went so I knew it was all in the right spot. Since I did this, the car will not start. Tries, but won't fire. I even tried putting the old wires and coil back on, to no avail. Reset the fuel pump by pushing the fuel reset button. Didn't help. Mechanic said it shouldn't have any problems starting. Help!

SOURCE: 2001 Hyundai Accent cranks, won't start

its the camshaft position sensor . Its located (atleast on my 1.6L) to the right of the front HOT plate the conection runs between the engine and the right side fan. easier to work on if you take off the air intake thats by the left front side of the battery. you will be working between the fan and the motor. only one bolt but is tricky so u need a 1/4 inch nuckle with a 1/4 extention. once located and you have the right tools it will only take 30 minutes to replace....dont forget to take off negative battery cable before you start.

SOURCE: 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. Won't start. no sound

Start from scratch.
Does the battery have 12 volts across the terminals? If yes, then does the starter click when you turn the key? If no, replace the battery.
If the starter clicks when you turn the key, but the engine doesn't crank, replace the starter.
If no click, then check for power at the starter solenoid.
If there is power at the solenoid, but no click when you turn the key, check the starter relay. If none of this fixes your problem, you may want to have your mechanic check for broken or corroded wires

2003 Hyundai Santa Fe has no spark.

Are there any warning lights on the dashboard? Did you get the new ECM programmed to the vehicle? The ECM needs to be coded to your car so it knows which systems are fitted to your vehicle. Have you plugged it into an OBD diagnostic to check for trouble codes?

I have a 2003 Santa Fe with 3.5 6cyl engine that is ideling rought & lots of missing off a stop. had codes PO001,03,05. Had wires & plugs replaced 2 weeks ago & still running rough. Now...

Do you mean P0301, P0302, etc? Misfire codes? You have 6 plugs, 3 coil packs, and 3 wires. cyl 2,4,6 are the ones in front, with the coil packs. It's possible they're bad.

Where does the spark come from on a 2002 santa fe 4 cyl.

On your Santa Fe, each spark plug has it's own "coil". the computer sends a signal to the coil at the precise moment that it needs to provide power for the spark plug.

How do you get to the spark plugs 2005 hyundia santa fe

There's a plastic cover on the valve cover, remove small bolt's holding cover, under cover will be two coil pack, and a total of 4 spark plug wire's, remove small bolts to coil pack, will have two bolts to each coil pack, disconnect elec. harness, remove coil pack, spark plugs will be in there.
