My 1999 JGC laredo is acting up all the gauges are not working and the air conditioning stop intermitent piower locks have stopped working. I was told to change the BCM and want to know what years are compatible?
I THINK THE VIN IS LEARNED IN THE BCM WHICH MEANS YOU CANNOT USE A USED ONE

SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE BROKEN WIRES BETWEEN DRIVER'S DOOR AND BODY AT A PILLAR..PULL RUBBER BOOT FROM BODY AND DOOR AND INSPECT WIRING HERE

replace the turns signals flasher unit.

make sure nobs are not broke pull them off check for cracks if not the your blend door might be sticking

There could be two problems here:
1. That buoy floating tank is not working properly
2. That the electrical system that fails to submit the dashboard.

does the air blows only on the windshield? if so there is a sensor located inside your dash board that need to be replace. Go to MSN.Auto and type in your vehicle under used cars and check the reliabilty it will tell you this and more.
