I need a wiring diagram on my 1992 toyoata celica gt coupe for the stereo wires. the colors are different and i need to figure out what each is. thank you very much.

Hi i have a gt4 rc with a idleing problem it runs for about 10 seconds then cuts out and will not run unless on boost help plz

You can figure this out fairly easily. The red wire is the positive, the black the ground. There will be another power/positive wire that stays on always to keep the memory alive when the car and stereo are ashut off. The tricky part is figuring out which speaker wires go where. This not that hard though. The speaker wires, usually 8 in total, 2 for each of the 4 speakers, are color coded, with 2 of the same color for each speaker except one will have a dark stripe to indicate the negative wire for that speaker. Just take a 9v battery and touch the terminals to each set of matching wires in turn to see which one makes a popping sound. Label the wiores as you go.

light green = right front tweeter + right front speaker

pink = left front speaker + left front speaker

grey = 15 amp fuse / hot in acc or on posistion

blue/yellow = dome light / hot all times

blue = right front speaker + right front tweeter

violet = left front speaker + left front tweeter

brown = ground

black/red = power antanna
pink/blue = power antanna

red = right rear speaker

black = left rear speaker

white = right rear speaker

yellow = left rear speaker

this was for the WITHOUT cd player , hope thats the model you have , since you didnt specify . repost if you need with the cd player
