1996 Dodge conversion van, 180,000 miles, has an intermittent issue that causes it to buck & run like a cylinder is down once it shifts into its top gear. Then other times it runs like it was brand new. I have replaced numerous items both during maintinance & tuneups, I'm kinda stumped at this point.. Thanks in advance for any help.1996 Dodge conversion van, 180,000 miles, has an intermittent issue that causes it to buck & run like a cylinder is down once it shifts into its top gear. These trucks are bad to chaff wires.if it runs 15 -20 min. in park but blows the fuse within a few miles of driving you almost definitely have a wire shorting out. this can be tedious to find. good luck
sounds to me like u have a clockspring bad not a fuse. they are on sepate curcuits. only thing common on that is the clockspring and very common on dodge
There is 4X4 convrsion company called Quigley thy have done 4X4 conversions for ambulances and off road campers try www.quigley.com for assistance. They may have what you need.
Check all of your dash fuses inside the glove box if these are fine. Remove the door panel nd check to see that the wires have not come loose they tendto come loose from closing the rear door.
