On the freeway it through the belts(3 belts not serpentine). I was able to limp it home using one belt from the balancer to water pump to alternator. The power steering/brake booster and air pump were left off. Now that the belts have all been replaced there is a loud screaming sound - belts are tight. I think its coming from the power steering/brake booster. Any thoughts ?

The chirp is from scale or a glaze on one of the pulleys. If not black or shiney in color clean it with brake cleaner and spray some belt dressing on the pulleys

Have you checked your tie rods? Possibility one is either bent or broken, I've seen it before on TB's. That pulley shaft is a common problem to break, especially when cold out. PS pumps/pulley shafts and tie rods will snap if doing donuts in the snow with the steering wheel cranked, or off-roading. The PS is completely mechanical, no fuses or relays.
