I changed the car battery and have to reset the antitheft before the car will sart.
It is called the fuel pump reset switch, it is not a toggle switch it is a resettable spring loaded pop up switch, the location is shown in the owners manual under fuel pump reset switch. in the index.

disconnecting the battery having an alarm system activated the security on it. you will have to get it towed to your local dealer repair shop and have then deactivate the alarm system. i would also go to autozone and buy a devise that you plug into your vehicle to make sure that doesnt happen again.

I would start with the 'PCM', or Power Control Module. You will have to take it to a garage with diagnostic capabilities to have this checked. The PCM controls how and when your car shifts, what RPM's it shifts at, etc......

does it crank?? if not possible starter malfunction.
if it does crank but doesn`t start then it is ignition problem and you will have to tow vehicle to repair shop.

Make sure the trip odometer is NOT on 'Trip A' or 'Trip B' (ie: just the normal
ODO). With the ignition off, press and hold the reset button. Press the 'Start'
button twice without pressing the brake, but while holding the reset button.
The dash will let you know its resetting, just keep holding the button until it
is done.
2. Make sure the Trip/Odometer is set to "trip A". With ignition off press and hold the reset button. While pressing the reset button, press the start/ignition button twice to turn ignition on.
