Might jsut need a service, or it could need water topping up. i would reccomed the service at your garage though a newer cars warn you that they need servicing every few thousand miles
The light comes on at fairly short intervals ... even to let you know that you need an oil change. The mileage at which it comes on will depend on when it was reset last time. the plugs are changed at 100000 miles,but the transmission,a 5 speed electronic and needs service with "j" type fluid.every 30000 miles.
the 120000 km service is about 500 dollars. call a reputable nissan dealer
at 60,000 miles need a transmission service new drivebelt plugs and wires if needed new antifreeze air filter replaced and tires rotated and inspected at every 3000 miles do oil changes
This is a setting that can be reset to 2000 miles - when it counts down to 0 you get the "Perform Service" alert. I believe if you use the Step function you will see "XX miles to Service" Use the reset button to set this back to 2000.
