I need to reset the computer on the BMW since I did a battery change everything on the car started to mess up! The AC stoped working, the windows on the back stoped working, and the dash board light its not turning off after the car is off.
Remove the battery cables and touch them together to remove residual voltage leave disconnected for 1 hour then reconnect and read codes in computer

take battery back get a new one or have it tested. like auto zone or a parts store even wal-mart now. If this battery was just dead and needed charged. Then sounds like to me you have a bad alternater. you can rely know if you can get the battery charged up and get the car to start. and while the car is running pull the positive connection of the battery if car dies bad alternater .

from ignition key position 1 , the right hand side trip button on your speedo shut be twisted right to advance the time,the longer you hold it ,the faster it will go,when desired time is reached, press the button inwards to set, switch off ignition and press the button,the time should display for few seconds.

The check engine light could be any number of things and the only way to find out is have the codes scanned. The brake light issue is common on E46 3 series. It is an issue were the brown ground wire that goes into the lamp housing melts at the connector causing a loose ground connection. The connector needs to be replaced and also add additional grounding wires to prevent further issues. And for fuel additives either use the cheveron techron, or the bmw fuel additive(the bmw stuff is the exact same thing, so just use which ever is cheaper).
