None of the power windows in the car work including driver

All I know is that under the driver switch the black switch box has a burned metal tooth as well as the wire attached to it. There is also a random wire where the fuse box is, any ideas?

2005 mercury mountaineer where is my power window dues box

dues box ? do you mean fuse box . There are fuses for the power windows in the under hood fuse / relay box ! F1.62 30amp fuse an there is a relay in the CJB - central junction block ,located under the driver side dash panel . Accessory delay relay , first one top left in the fuse box. That's a good place to start ! what if fuse an relay are good ? then what ? do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? Do any of your windows work ? The best place to start is the drivers door window switch ! All power to all windows come through that switch .The lite blue with black stripe wire is power wire at the switch !

I don't know anything about your vehicle but I do know I bet the makers, the assemblers who assembled your car at the factory and auto elections know what's wrong. Researching libraries the manuals for your car in stock can be a help as web pages including youtube may have some interesting videos on your problem.

My turn signal and widows don't work check fuse and wires

Look under the steering wheel fuse box and check the isu fuse the isu fuse under the dash it is the main fuse for box and the electrical fuses in it if it don't work none will properly if at even if you switch them. You'll know if a fuse is blown if the metal link in the fuse is broken

Pull the switch from the door an test for B+ voltage on the brown wire at pin G connector 1 The other window switches get B+ from the drive door switch . Also check the ground , black wire pin B connector 1 . Do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ?

Windows only work from the drivers door controls

Check the master window control panel on the driver's door. There is probably a lockout switch. It may have a window outline on one end and the same outline with an "X" over it on the other. Press the outline without the "X" and all your windows should work again. As silly as that sounds, a lot of people hit that switch without knowing it. Also, if that switch(lockout) is faulty, none of the windows will work. That happens A LOT!!

Window fuse's and relay's may be up under driver or passenger side dash or behind glove box, under the hood and even under the seats, and finally on the ends of the dash. All passenger power windows and locks are controlled thru and get power from the master control switch on the drivers door.

I have a 2000 ford mustang, my power windows on both the driver and passenger side were only working if i would open the driver side door the whole way, now none of them will work. i tried replacing the...

Hi, it sounds to me like the connector to the switch is loose or the wires are broken in the joint at the door hinge. When you open the door, it's either tugging less on the switch or it's letting a broken wire make contact. First pull up the switch and see if the connector is loose. While you're there, you can check for power to the switch connector. The power comes to the switch on a light blue wire with a black stripe. If there is no power there, trace the wire back thru the hinge boot to find a break or maybe just run a new wire. Let me know if you have questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Doorlocks dont work except from passenger side. mirrors dont work. windows dont work from anywhere

First, check all fuses to make sure that none are blown.

If the door lock switch works on the passenger side, then the drivers side door lock switch is probably faulty. Use a multi-meter to test the Drivers Side Door Lock Switch (Black and Pink/Light Green wires unlock the vehicle, and the Black and Pink/Yellow wires lock the vehicle)
If the switch is tested and found to be operating properly, you may have a faulty Body Security Module or Drivers Side Door Lock Actuator.

If neither of your Power Mirrors are working, you probably have a faulty Exterior Rear View Mirror Switch, Power Mirror Module, or blown Central Junction Box Fuse.

If none of your Power Windows are working, you probably have a faulty Accessory Delay Relay or a blown fuse in your Central Junction Box or a faulty Master Window Adjust Switch (all of the Power Window Switches feed through this Master Window Switch). If the Power Windows didn't stop working at the same time, you may have faulty Window Adjust Switches, or faulty Power Window Motors, this is very unlikely though. It would also be a good idea to inspect the wiring for any obvious damage.
