All three of these are tested when the engine is being cranked over. There are two way of checking for fuel. Fuel pressure and fuel trigger. Both are very important and must be present for the car to start. Fuel pressure is self explanatory. You just hook up the gage and see what the reading is. Fuel trigger is check with a noid light. The injector gets unplugged and the noid light gets plugged in to the injector clip. With the engine cranking over, this light must blink. This is the signal to the injectors from the computer. You can have all the fuel pressure in the world, but it wont matter if the injector is not pulsing gas into the cylinder like it should! Compression tester, spark tester, fuel pressure gage and noid light are all accessible at your local auto store. All three tests play a very important part in diagnosing a no start condition

Could be a computer problem among other things.
The computer grounds the injectors when it sees RPM and a spark signal.
You may need a shop that has a scanner that will read data flow in and out of the computer to find the problem.

Dean, it looks like your on the right path ,with all 3 things as you stated it should do something, did you try a little starting fluid , you could use a timing light to check for good steady spark . what other kind of work have you done to it ? re check your work ,when you did compression test how did the plugs look =clean =soaked in fuel = nothing at all? OK IF YOUR YOUR SURE YOU HAVE SPARK AND FUEL THEN THE PROBLEM IS AIR OR COMPRESSION I WOULD THINK COMPRESSION DO A QUICK COMPRESSION TEST AND I THINK YOU WILL FIND THE PROBLEM IS A BROKEN TIMING CHAIN ONE OTHER POSSIBILITY IS A PLUGGED CATALYST BUT FOR BOTH BANKS TO BE PLUGGED TO THE POINT IT WILL NOT START IS VERY RARE GOOD LUCK (WHEN YOU SAY YOU HAVE FUEL DO YOU MEAN THE FUEL PRESSURE IS GOOD AND YOU HAVE INJECTOR PULSE OR JUST THAT YOU HAVE GOOD PRESSURE THE INJECTORS MUST PULSE AND HAVE AROUND 45 TO 60 PSI (RULE OF THUMB) FOR IT TO START ) USE A NOID LIGHT TO TEST INJECTOR PULSE OR IF NOT AVILABE SUBSTIUTE A 194 BULB AND BEND THE WIRE TABS FROM THE BULB DOWN AND PLUG THEM INTO THE INJECTOR HARNESS (NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ASIAN OR EUROPEAN CARS ) THIS LIGHT WILL BLINK WHEN CRANKING OR RUNNING IF YOU HAVE INJECTOR PULSE

PERORM A COMPRESSION CHECK TO ENSURE THE COMPRESSION IS GOOD .IF THE COMPRESSION IS IN ALL CYLINDERS PROCEED TO CHECK FUEL SYSTEM .REMOVE THE FUEL INJECTORS AND EXAMIN THE INJECTOR TIP FOR CARBON DEPSITS .CHECH FUEL SPRAY PATTERN ,ENSURE INJECTORS ARE ACTUALLY SPRAYING . THEN PROCEED TO EXAMIN THA SPARK PLUGS .LOOK FOR DISCOLOURATION OF SPARK PLUG ELECTRODES OR CARBON DEPOSITS. IN DIAGNOSING PROBLEMS ONE HAS TO SYSTEMATIC OR ELSE YOU WOULD BE WASTING MONEY AND TIME PURCHASING AND REPLACING COMPONENTS WHICH ARE NOT DEFECTIVE . GOOD LUCK .

Injector pulse comes from Cam sensor, If you have a BAd CAMSHAFT sensor you will not get injector pulse, replace sensor and that should solve your problem. Good Luck and thanks for using FIX YA
