SOURCE: Legacy wagon tail light replacement

The one thing youll find with subaru's is that they like to put nuts in funny places that are hard to access. There are either 3 or 4 nuts holding the tail-light assembly in place, which means youll need to take out most of the inner panels to access the others. You should not need a sealant unless the rubber seal is done for or there is water inside the car. Hope this helps

SOURCE: Clutch replacement details for 1996 legacy GTB

Trust me it is quite an excercise and not worth doing yourself. With the proper tools, a hoist and a my mate who is a Guru Subaru Mech it took 4 hours. Without having done it before and without the Hoist ( which is wha I was going to do initially ) I'd say you wouldn't get much change out of 8 - 12 hours.

SOURCE: how often do brake rotors need to be replaced?

They will need replacing when they are at the minimum thickness, which is stamped on the rotor in most cases. If they are rusted, they will need replacement anyhow. you may just call a few repair shops and ask for a quote on pads and rotors. Asking a quote for brakes is hard, because they dont have the car to inspect it, and its hard because nobody quotes the same parts, apples to apples. the cheapest is not the best deal, you get what you pay for. Get good quality brakes, your life depends on it. if it was me I would use dealer parts.

SOURCE: 95 Subaru legacy wagon manual transmission fluid

The dipstick has a black plastic handle in the shape of ring of about 1 inch in diameter. It is located on the left side of the engine (looking from front) behind the spark plugs. Best visible from the passenger side fender location (start looking from the left part of the transmission , the black handle clearly stands out on the white metal).

I have a 1991 Subaru legacy wagon 5 speed and a 1993 Subaru legacy wagon automatic I was wondering can I use the 1991 wagon for a full manual swap

Yes these cars are the same as far as parts go.
You will need to change some wiring on the automatic car for the manual swap to work without changing the wiring harness.
