My 2003 Sierra's blower came on by itself in the garage while I was sleeping and ran the battery completely down. I had to replace the blower switch located under the glove box next to the blower at the bottom of the right corner of the dash. The switch is in front of the blower and held in by two screws. Disconnect the two wire connections. This is a "dealer only" part and cost me 65.00. Also check the wire harness with seven wires connected to it for melted plastic. It will be marked "ABCDEFG". If it has melted, you'll need to replace it. Pay attention when reinstalling either part, that the wires "ABCDEFG" match the switch in that order.

Where is the heater blower located

On a 2003 Sierra the blower motor is under the passenger side of the dash. There will be a plastic tirm pannel that will need to be removed to gain access to the blower motor.

2003 gmc sierra heat will not blow hot air. Changed thermostat, resistor, both heater core hoses are hot to touch and the coolant is full

if the blower motor motor is working then its a blocked heater core or a faulty shut off valve ,i would need to get my head under the bonnet and then the dash to find the fault to be honest

The heater blower on my 2003 GMC sierra wont shut off

i had the same problem. depends what kind of trim model you have. but if you look on the passenger side floor right under the glove box is where your heater unit is. if you take off the cover to it. their will be a little squarebox looking thing with 2 - 3 wires coming out of it and goin to the blower motor unit . Tap the square box with a screwdriver while your blower motor is on off mode. it should shut off if you give it a couple good solid taps. dont be afraid to hit it. that little square thing might have to be replaced if it turns off when you hit it. or just may have to be cleaned.
