IF YOU HAVE CLEAN WATER COMING UNDER THE GLOVE BOX PASSENGER'S SIDE I BELIEVE THAT THE RUBBER HOSE CONNECTED TO THE DRAINER GETTING OUT OF THE CAR FROM THE FIRE WALL IS OFF. CHECK AND REFIT IT.

SOURCE: windshield washer fluid hose is leaking behind front right wheel

I had the same problem. Reservoir would drain for no reason and I later found that the water was soaking the passenger side carpet and filling the wire channel under the doors. Tracked the problem to a barbed fitting behind the passenger side kick panel, just below the dash. The fitting connects the tubing coming through the firewall from the reservoir to the rear wiper/washer. The hose had come loose from the fitting (possibly due to freezing). I re-installed the tubing onto the the fitting and it has been fine ever since.

SOURCE: leak

I was advised that i could pay $135+to take apart dash and find source of leak.I figured it out after it snows or rains real-hard then a gusher would happen when i stopped or started car. The solution is simple lift the hood ,and on the passengers side there is a retangular rubber plug that slowly releases water from the wiper reservior. it is above the exhaust manifold. be careful when you remove it because the vapor from the exhaust may steam-burn your hand.the dealer speculated it was a blocked air-conditoner drainage tube.but i removed it and leaves from the wiper resv. came pouring out. this cost me ZERO DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS. we have had 2 major storms with no leaks....Texas Stang

SOURCE: driver side floor water leak

Well, you are on the right path; the rubber seal around the windshield could indeed be deteriorating...what may be happening is the water is coming through the cowling and pooling up on the seal there...as the water sits, the seal deteriorates and eventually you will see water like you are now.

My recommendation to you is to take your Edge to a shop and ask them to look for a leak at the bottom seal of the windshield.

SOURCE: water leaking inside 2001 ford focus passenger

Could be two thing's, 1 check drain tube for a/c could be clogge, 2 could be heater core leaking, check and see if it's coolant or water, if coolant heater core bad, water check drain tube.

When running my crown Victoria I smell antifreeze is my heater core going up

If the smell is coming thru the vents, it could be the heater core.
The carpet on the passenger side may get wet at some point in time.

Leak onto floor behind the glove box, also making defrost slow to work.

i'm thinking this leak may actually be caused by a rusted out spot or hole on the hood of the vehilce, or by the windshield seal coming loose allowing water to enter..

if the cars antenna is above that area where the leak is it can also come from that..

basically it will enter the hood, run down the sides and gather on the floor under the glove compartment...

you said its only when its raining right ?? so its definitely a leak.

2002 Mitsubishi Lancer leaking water under glove box and a noise in that same area becoming more noticeable. Air conditioning unit?

Typically, when you have water leaking from underneath your glove box, that means that your heater core is leaking. Your heater core is basically a small radiator located inside your car, just behind your glove box, thjat a fan blows through for the purpose of warming the interior of your car and defrosting the inside of your windshield. This core is fed water via your engines water pump, from your engine where the water is heated, through the heater core and back through the radiator located under the hood of your car and through the engine once again, in a continual cycle. What happens after time, the heater core is of a much thinner construction than your radiator and will corrode through in a much lesser time. The other things which commonly occurs in the heater cores today, is that when your car overheats or blows a head gasket, it will allow the exhaust gas from your engine into your water system and create a tremendous amount of pressure. The heater core is not designed to deal with this extra pressure and typical blows out and leaks water onto the floor board of the passenger side of the vehicle. Heater cores are not all that expensive a part, but to replace it, can be quite difficult on some make and model cars. This information applies to most all make and model cars both previously and currently produced.

Air conditioning not working 100%

You may want to have the evaporator (the AC part under the dashboard on the passenger side) cleaned. It needs to be taken out and cleaned. Normally this would solve the issue. Have the freon checked if there is a decrease. You may have it filled up and have the system checked for leaks.

2002 Lancer heat/ac ductwork leaking water.

Sounds like your drain tube for the A/C is clogged up. Get someone to blow it out for you, and you shouldn' t have this problem anymore.

Leak under car

if it's water, and not gas it's not your fuel pump. if it's water and not a sweet smelling green or red liquid it's not your cooling system. it's probally condensation from your ac, have you been using your ac alot? if so no worries. or a bad window or door seal and it's letting in water onto your floor. and yous aid under the door, so it's on the ground or on the floor of the vechile? if on the ground, more then likely it's just your weep drain from your ac system.

There is a water leak somewhere in my 98 toyota camry that leaks into my passenger side floor. There is no sun roof and no visible leaks from the windows or doors. Any thoughts? A/C leak maybe? water...

I am the original owner of camry xle 1998 with wet floors. In 2000 I had drivers side door seal leaking at welt. Removed old door seal and new weather strip on drivers side installed. The door panel was never wet, but wet at bottom of door where there are drain holes...slowly leaking under carpet.
In 2001 later water again. Coming from overflowing A/C evaporator-drain plugged/ tank full of debris. Removed evaporator, cleaned + drain cleaned.
In 2003, driver door seal against window rotted. Removed door panel and found leak at window belt molding at the mirror joint inside + out. Lots of mold under carpet needed to replace! Made a fuss at dealers for reacurring problem and they replaced the carpet for free.
