Sounds like blown head gasket (through exhaust port) fill with water and start up, look under car, and see if water is coming out of the exhaust pipe)note: if head gasket is blown thru exhaust port you won't have water in the oil. it will come out of the exhaust. if this is the case then possibly can fix with (k&w block sealer or comparable block sealer) since no water in oil engine should be fine.) but follow directions to a T on block sealer if you don't it could stop up the radiator and you'd be back in the same position. also make sure you fix problem that caused it, probably bad thermostat or water pump.

The oil is probably milky or cloudy also .... I hope not.  If the oil is milky or cloudy too, it is likely you have
blown head gasket cracked cylinder head warped cylinder head.
You could try something like Barr's stop leak radiator additive to plug up the place where oil and water are mixing, but I don't recommend this,  it will be temporary if it does anygood at all.
The car can continue to run for quite a while (months) like this, but will start losing coolant, and worse, you'll be sending coolant through the lubrication system, prematurely wearing out EVERYTHING inside the engine.
If you have coolant in the oil, this will be an expensive and time consuming repair. Fingers crossed there is not coolant in the oil.

SOURCE: peugeot 405 oil blows out of the oil filler

yes their is a breather pipe but if its that bad then either its completly blocked or you need a engine rebuild. The breather is on the front of the engine with a pipe running to the air intake and the dip stick is in the top

SOURCE: engine blowing oil from oil filler cap

I had the same problem. I changed the pcv valve and checked the hose. It still did the same thing. Then I checked the metal tubing that the hose connects to and found it was full of hardened gunk. I sprayed PB Blaster into the tube let it soak for awhile. Then took an old choke cable, put it on a drill and ran it into the tube like a drain snake. It took a while of doing this over and over but eventually got it cleared out. Now, no more oil all over the engine and hood compartment.

Well not to worry as I am sure there is some water in there. The deal is oil is lighter then water so it floats to the top.
The bad news is you have a blown headgasket. It is the only place in the engine where oil and water come close to each other and are sealed. Well either that or a engine block defect which I would say would be extremely rare. 1 in 100 million rare. Headgaskets going bad are not rare but rather common.

Connect 1.8tdci overheating issue.

Does the temp gauge read hot or no?
If cracked it can push pressure into the tank to make it seem like it's boiling but this also means the water will leak back into engine when cooling. Do you have a grey goo on your dipstick when you check the oil?
If yes then YES block is history.

Hi i hav read about water in oli & i hav 2E Tazz & i have my car for 4 year's & every time when i start my car there come black water out of the exhausts & that is for 4 years now what can be the prob

on initial start up of an engine , water and water vapor coming from an exhaust pipe is normal-- black water is just carbon or soot in the water
it is condensation formed during the combustion process in a cold engine
--very noticeable on cold mornings as spots of water and steam
as the motor warms up , the hotter combustion temperatures and hot exhaust system reduces visible steam to a point where it is not noticeable and the water has boiled off
as to water in the oil--- normal sump oil is light brown when new to dark chocolate to black as it gets old
if there is water in the sump oil the color is normally a grey color and has a condition like curdled milk
to add further for your pre start checks --- the coolant should be a bright green or red --depending on the anti-boil/freeze in use--- but if you have an automatic with a faulty oil cooler in the radiator tank, the coolant color goes to a pink.

Hi, My 95 2.8 Pajero (turbo deisel) has been overheating. I have replaced the thermostat, water pump and the rad cap (rad replaced 2 years ago) and still it is boiling over into the expansion bottle. When...

Just a guess but I think their diagnosis was that the head and head gasket was not leaking and not a source of the bubbles you spoke of.
Usually when the head or head gasket is leaking, a unusual amount of water will will be expelled from the tail pipe.

How do you bleed the air out of the coolant system

there should be a threaded bung on radator or on rad pipe remove the bung then fill coolant bottle start the engine when water spurts from the hole replace the bung and fill water bottle to rad with more water only to max level then restart the engine wait for fan to start and stop keeping an eye on temp gauge so it dont go to high job done

White tail smoke, both temp gauges (oil/engine)

Alright there your on the money there. A4 audi's and The 2liter golfs do haed gaskets at around 145-150,000 miles. the oil's foamy kinda yellowie cream. Tip for ya When you do the head gasket cahnge the rad and water pump at the same time. Mine didthe same it's costly but worth it for piece of mind, Plus is the only time you get to the water pump apart from changing the timing belt.

Audi A4 2.5 V6 TDI - Creamy grey coolant in expansion tank

Sounds like blown head gasket (or worse) still to me.
Remove oil filler cap and look for grey oil.
Never use water these days but special coolant. Water makes vapour spots and cause block cracks, worse then blown gaskets!!!
vapour does not cool very well.
Look like you have cracks already.
Take a compression test if possible. But might not show op at that temperature.
The gauge indication troubles me.
