I have an Audi 2004 convertible A4 that the top has malfunctioned. I had taken a friend to the airport and had his suitcase in the back seat, when I went to put the top down it caught briefly on the suitcase. I got the suitcase out and sgtarted to put the top back up and it stopped short of closing (about 3") I understand if the hydrolics are stressed, it will shut down for 15-30 minutes. Any suggestions before I close this manually?

SOURCE: Audi 2004 convertable top malfunction

Just close BOTH the front and back MANUALLY and make sure its in the locked position. (follow the owners manual on how to close it manually). The warning light will go off and the switch will become operational again.
