This question is isted on FixYa and gives two answers but don't show any real answer so far as a diagram or how to build the bypass circuit. This is their answer: It's possible to build a bypass circuit which will completely remove the DRL and Twilight Sentinel functions (leaving your car with plain old-fashioned manual headlight control only), using parts of the failed module as a mounting and connection platform, a few wires, and three transistors. This is an absolute worthless answer without including a schematic diagram showing kind of transistors or where to put them or the jumper wires etc. How can I find the real answer on the components etc an instructions on bypassing the DRL? Thanks, Hank

SOURCE: in the distributor there are 2 wires that go too control module
I am sorry there are way to many people on this sight at times that don't have a clue whats they are saying and experts like me have to clean up there mess.So here we go on your module where the 2 wires go if you look at it there is a tiny tab that sticks out that the tab on the connector if it was still present on your wires would attach to.The white wire goes on that terminal.another way I can describe it is with the module mounted in the distributorthe green wire will go on the terminal closest to the distrib main shaft and the white will go towards the outer housing edge. After all this the pickup coil that the white and green wires are coming out of is nothing more than a magnetic trigger so there isn't anyway it can burn up your module and the wire length and the way they form after all the years of service inside the distributor will only really reach one of the terminals correctly.also check your distrib, shaft and housing for wear because oil wicking up thru is usually what causes your connectors to corrode and come apart as well as it leaves a green colored corrosion behind that can cause starting and timing issues.GOOD LUCK

BEST TO LET GARAGE DO IT.THEY HAVE THE EQUIPMENT.TRYING ADJUSTING HEAD LIGHTS COULD BLIND OTHER DRIVERS IF THEY ARE NOT ADJUSTED RIGHT.
