My audi S4 2004 model will not start

fuse diagram, torque specs, PCV, error codes, fault codes, service info, repair info, parts info, owner's/service/repair/
parts/maintenance manuals etc everything totally..
I have 1987 toyota 4runner model and I keep servicing and when needed repair it on my own. worth it !!!

You need to have your fuel pressure checked. fuel filter, etc.

WHAT DO U MEAN IT WONT START?U HAVE NO IGNITION?THE IGNITION IS ON AND ENGINE WONT TURN?NEED MORE INFO!!!!

TRY THIS IT MAY OR MAY NOT HELP.PUT KEY IN THE IGNITION SWITCH TURN IT TO ON POSITION WITH THE ENGINE OFF.LEAVE KEY ON POSITION THE IMMOBILIZER WARNING LAMP ILLUMINATES FLASHES.IF WARNING LAMP TURNS OFF IN 30 SECONDS TRY CRANKING CAR.SEE IF IT RUNS WITH OUT CUTTING OFF IF SO.THE AUDI DEALERSHIP HAS TO REPROGRAM THE NEW IGNITION KEY. WHILE THE KEY IN THE IGNITION SWITCH IN THE ON POSITION AND THE WARNING LAMP DONT STOP BLINKING THE DEALERSHIP HAS TO REPROGRAM KEY TO THE IGNITION SWITCH AND IMMOBILIZER.

Did you found out the problem? i have the same problem and i want to find out,

try spraying key in ignition with WD 40...then slowly turn from left 2 right a few times then try pulling key out gl

If car Convenience Control Module(module that control key remote) lose power- remote adaptation to the car will be lost. This apply to some Audi models.
What you can try to do is:
1. Disarm alarm manually by opening door lock with the key
2. Put key into ignition and turn to on position (don't start the car)
3. Press few times remote button (with the ignition in on position)
Depends on your year model it my work (works on the newer models), if not you have to go to the dealership to program your keys.

HI,HANNAH,I SUSPECT YOU HAVE AN IMMOBILIZER PROBLEM.IF THERE IS A ORANGE LIGHT FLASHING ON THE CLUSTER WITH AKEY IN IT THEN IT IS THE IMMOBILIZER.THE PROBLEM WOULD MORE LIKELY BE THE DATA FROM THE KEY IS NOT GETTING TO THE IMMOBILIZER CONTROL UNIT,USUALLY A BAD CONNECTION AT THE READER COIL ON THE IGNITION.YOU MUST CLOSE THE TERMINALS SLIGHTLY AND INSULATE THE WIRING SEPERATELY.ANDY

You and your key will have to pay a visit to an Audi Dealer for a Dyagnosticcheck and key reprogramme...if you have a spare key try that..my mate had the same problem on a BMW.

Starter switch. Plastic and cheap, my 98 A6 did the same thing... I replaced thousands in parts, turned out to be a cracked ignition switch which is a very common Audi problem!
