Lok in the trunk on the left side, behind the carpet for a small plastic box with a bunch of wires going to it. Look to see if there is brake light powe coming in with the pedal depressed. If so, and no power is coming out, you need to order and replace the "taillamp failure sensor".

SOURCE: 1989 Toyota Camry. No brake lights.

It could be the relay, which is a yellow box located under the carpeting in the trunk on the left side. It is a problem common to your model. Also, check the brake switch's (behind the brake pedal) functionality (12V present with key at ACC or ON and continuity between wires when button engaged).

i hope this helps

SOURCE: where is the fuse box located on a 1993 toyota

Hiya,

Your fuses on the '93 Camry are usually located behind the coinbox panel on the dashboard, somewhere near your knee.

...and the major fuse links are in the engine bay, under a secured cover next to the battery:

Hope this helps you...

Hi. 2003 Camry. All 3 brakelights won't work. All other lights are fine. I suspect the brake switch by the brake pedal is bad. Where is it, what does it look like, how do I get to it? Thank you for...

Chances are that it is the fuse. Look in the fuse box. Use the diagram inside the fuse box to locate the fuse. Use the provided fuse puller to remove the fuse. Check to make sure the wire inside is not burned in two. There may be two fuse boxes. Look in your owners manual for the locations.

The fuse i think

The fuse box for that fuse would be located behind the drivers side kick panel. its a 7.5 amp fuse that allows things like the heater fan, overdrive, seat belts and gauges to function. I had the same problem and checked the fuses visually - not a good idea since it did not blow in the middle. took me a while, but i finally used and ohm meter and found it. Hope this helps out.
