In the mb w 203, steering angle sensor (sas) is plugged in the multifunction module which is connected to the wiring harness through a snap on connector. The scan tool was constantantly indicating the fault in the sas where as on diassembly I found that one of the connector pin in the module was broken. I changed the module and the problem was fixed.

SOURCE: The windshield wipers on my 2004 mercedes e320

It sounds like you have what is known as a short to power. I would suggest having an automotive electrician/technician take a look at the electrical wiring and your switches. I believe it may be inside your turn signal switch. It sure sounds like many issues Ive seen over the years and the switch was the culprit. Good luck.

SOURCE: Need to know how I

Because of the street rod configuration you can't install the original switches on the new column - you will have to attach them directly to the dash: the horn will be a simple press button and the turn signal switch lever will stick out perpendicularly on the dash (the same setup as in older Citroens)
Yes, they will work directly connected to a 12 volt battery but you don't have to do that. All you need to do is to modify the wiring - take the wires from the old column all the way to the steering box and route them to the new location of the switches. Just make sure the horn switch has a good ground(the horn sounds when the worn wire is connected to the ground)

Can i get a wiring diagram for steerin wheel controls and cruise control?

You can probably find one. First determine the year, make, and model of your vehicle, then search at Google for "service manual". Check available manuals to ensure they have a wiring diagram (factory service manual is best option if available).

I HAVE A 2002 E150 ECONOLINE VAN. THE RADIO, THE HORN, TURN SIGNALS AND ER FLASHER QUIT WORKING.

Could be a lose connection in the dash , more then likely . Who replaced the gauge an drive indicator ? The horn / cruise control /turn signals / radio all share a common ground point it looks like ,G203
G203 Behind upper LH side of I/P, near cowl
Maybe after gauge & drive indicator replacement connection became lose . None of these componets share a power supply (fuse) I can't send picture of the location of G- 203 sorry ! Instrument cluster would need to come out to see the ground .

Why does my windshield wipers come on when I turn my left turn signal on

Perhaps a screw fell out inside the steering column, and causes power from the turn signal to short to the wiper circuit. I saw this happen in a 1972 GMC pickup truck, where a screw fell out and caused the horn to sound when the turn signal was activated. The screw was laying across the two circuits, and when the signal was powered up, the horn was also , on an intermittent basis. Had torent a steering wheel puller from the auto parts store.

Your problem is most likely a defective clockspring assembly. This is also called "spiral cable assembly" it is located just under the steering wheel on the steering column and makes the connection between the main wiring harness and the circuits for the air bag and the horn. I cannot give you wire colors because your question did not mention year, make, model, engine size or whether the vehicle is equipped with cruise control or not. (cruise control makes a difference in the clockspring assembly used on your car.)

Anyway, the air bag and steering wheel has to be removed to fix it.

Windshield wipers and washers not working - fuse is good

Gonna have to replace that Wiper Motor. As for the Blinkers, Could you live with it or not? It is a Small Plastic piece inside the Sterring Column that needs to be Replaced. You have to disassemle the Entire top half of the Sterring Column to get to it.
