SOURCE: i have a suzuki liana

you need to take your car to either the dealer or auto parts store that has a diagnostic computer and plug it in - it, the computer will read the code from your car and point you or the mechanic in the direction of the problem.
if you have a minor problem you can drive your car ( with poor gas mileage) like this for a while, BUT IF you have a serious problem you may damage your engine!!
good luck

How many heater hoses does a suzuki liana 2005 need and what are they called?

welcome to USA forum with zero Lianas here,
just 2 on all cars, the core has only 2 pipes if you look there.
you need to look on the suzuki parts pages, (only 2 left usa)
why not drive to your dealer and ask them.
we dont have that here,
see them here,
no

no parts here, no books here, no Liana here,
so.... why ask us?
if you told where you are location then magic can happen.

Please could you help me with a photo where Suzuki liana's thermostart is located on the engine?

no year, no engine option stated, nor country. (we dont have em' in USA)
it's same spot all engines, mostly.
see radiator. see 2 big hoses.
the one that gets hot first, is the one that goes to the thermostat housing,. (under-which thermostat hides)
i have no idea which engine you have, at all.

the engines offered are:
1.3 L I4; 1.5 L I4; 1.6 L I4; 1.8 L I4; 2.0 L I4; 2.3 L I4; 1.4 L Diesel I4

yes, overwhelming,

About suzuki liana

I haven't seen or heard of common problems with Suzuki. Their parts wear out like the others. Only thing I don't like is having to buy about every part for a Suzuki from the dealer. Not much after market parts out there for Suzuki.

On my suzuki liana 1.6 2004 the airbag light keeps on

that means there is a fault in this system.
we scan it and read the Bxxxx codes.
in the suzuki shop (LOL finding one) the use a special factory SRS air bag tool.
my fancy scan tool can not do Suzuki/s
so take it in and get it scanned, by any shop with a SRS scanner that works in suzuki,

SUZUKI LIANA 2002 ENGINE CUTTING OUT INTERMITTANTLY

Not sure if you have already figured this out- or just sold your car, but I have been having the same problem and had a bit of a search around forums etc. Looks like it is the Crank Angle Sensor which needs to be replaced. I am about to go and get my car fixed so fingers crossed this is the miracle cure. Here is a link to the forum discussion on the issue.
