I have 95 town car that had no starter in it when i got it and think im missing a wiere. i only have two one big pos cable and a smaller red one and if i use a jumper wiere from pos cable to wiere tab on silanod it will start
The small wire attaches to the small solenoid lug and the two large battery cables in red connect to the one large stud on the solenoid

Check the the park/nuetral switch. Check power at starter relay.

Take it to the dealer. I had the same thing with my 1994 pathfinder. There's something else
wrong and they found it, replaced it and I've not had any problem. It was an easy problem for

if the car sat for two years and was never started.... the motor could very well be seized.... to get at the starter .... is usually done from the bottom. If you can removed the starter... test it to see if it's working.... something else you can try if you can see the starter ... is to tap it gently with a hammer while someone attempts to start it...

It is a Little Tough. If you are not Mechanically Inclined, This is better left to a Pro. There is a Preassure line in the System that could cause Injury if not removed Corrctly.

Try the spark plug wires, it sounds like you aren't getting a good spark. The distributor cap could also need cleaning or replaced. - David (you know me :-) )
