2005 GMC Envoy trailer lights

When I hook a trailer (that works with my other vehicle) to my 2005 GMC Envoy, the lights don't work if I have the Envoy lights on. If the lights are on for the Envoy, then the lights don't work on the trailer.

2005 Envoy pedal adjuster not working. Checked fuses, all good. Kinda stuck

Hi Robert,

There are two different adjustable pedal position systems available for 2005 GMC Envoy. There is a standard system (without memory) and there is the automatic system (with memory) The system components, as well as the diagnostic procedure, varies greatly depending on which system your vehicle is equipped with.

In either case, it is recommended that you begin diagnosis by performing a diagnostic scan of your onboard computer network.

PLEASE NOTE: This cannot be performed by using a generic OBD code reader (including those that many of the parts stores use as sales tools to sell you a bunch of parts you don't need).

1) Look for fuse 32 in underhood fuse panel, I believe this is for trailer lights. 50 & 51 are for R and L trailer brake.
2) The blower resistor pack is defective, this is located behind the glovebox and mounted to the blower body.
3) I have no solution for tailgate problem, suggest visiting Trailvoy.com forum and doing search on XUV tailgate.

Left turn signal on trailer

ok tdknutson, I'm not clear on this, does the truck left turn signal stop working when u plug the trailer in, or is it the trailer left turn signal that's not working, or both? When u plugged in the test light did it show u had power to that plug in? Let me know the answer to the above, and in the meantime, check the ground on the turn signal at the trailer. Make sure it's not loose, and tightly connected to the frame (or wire). Also, what type plug in do u have? 4, 6, 7 wire?
