This problem
is commonly caused by a dirty automatic idle speed control valve and
throttle valve. Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (do not use
carburetor spray cleaner!) from NAPA or Carquest (made by CRC
chemicals) and spray it into the air intake while the engine is
running, use up about 1/2 the can, engine will try to stall hold the
speed up, shut it down and let it soak for 30 minutes, restart and
blow out the remaining fluid, shut it down and disconnect the
negative battery cable for 5 Min's to reset the base idle control
Testimonial: "iv'e used carburetor cleaner before & didn't work.. but i'll try your way, i was about to buy an idle air control valve but that's too much money that might go down the drain.. i hope its not my gaskets, because i hear an air leak but CANNOT find it. thanks alot"

Not likely getting a bad TPS.Your TPS runs off a 5volt reference wire.Using multimeter with key on engine off Check to make sure you have your 5volt reference check for any deformed terminals or broken wires inside insulation.

Check the Tension on the Belt. If it is even a Little loose it will not allow the Battery to Charge. Check the Alternator Also.

The orifice tube is located in the liquid line from the condenser to the evaporator at the fitting on inside left front fender.
