You will need a trim shop to replace the inflatable bladder for the support if no other leaks are found..

2008 does not have an inflatable bladder, It's a motor (and almost for sure the gearbox on it has broken gears) that bends a spring loaded device.

You still need the trim shop if the gears that drive the wedge (or whatever) are defective.

lumbar on the driver seat Shawn, Its cable driven plastic plate. It can possibly be repaired once you disassemble it and can see it, if not repairable you can replace the lumbar. Check the attached links,forums with instruction and guides, Good luck

no -- but you can by an aftermarket lumbar support to put behind your back. Check good auto aftermarket shops or go to E-bay for what you want

How do I troubleshoot my lumbar support not working on a 2007 Pontiac grand prix gxp

ZANE, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair.

This is a simple test, you'll need to gain access to the lumbar motor and disconnect the wiring connector and install a volt meter and move the switch to see if you are getting power and ground to the motor. we have a 08 1500 crewcab chevy that all the power door locks worked excepted the drivers door. We started to look at that door power lock actuater and now the passenger power door lock does not work. Could the trouble be something other than actuaters?

I doubt you'll be able to buy a wiring harness from a dealer for a 13-year old vehicle. Plus, I doubt that it's a separate harness in the first place. Plan on visiting a junkyard and doing a LOT of splices
