Hi i have mercedes c180 classic 1997 one week ago SRS signal starts appearing can you help me to fix this proplem

Coolant temp sensor may be sticking in cold position causing rich mixture when warm . That will cause idle issues .

need a specialist in alinement or brakes------a procut machine will find the problems w the disk--they use um in nascar--the car is put on a digital rack--worth the $-dont throw more parts at it-----just find a good mech whos done this stuf

i have Mercedes c-180 model 1997 the srs light remains on and air bag does not come on rather when dipper is used the srs ligh t light goes till the time the lever is pressed and th dipper does not work similary when tthe wiper lever is used the srs light flickers

I have a Mercedes Benz C180 1996 Model, but I cant locate the Computer Box.. Anyone please with knowlegde of where I can see the Computer Box..

Did you controlled the cooling fluid? Maybe you have not enough.

No it is not, that might be some minor fault of one of the seatbelt sensors or brake sensors, best thing is to go and get diagnostics done.

srs is Suplimental Restraint System, refering to an air bag fault. does the light flash when first started?.if it does, it is flashing a code. ex.- flash flash pause flash flash flash long pause is 23. this will repeat and the stay solid

as i know of code normally be posted somewhere on top or behind stereo when you pull the whole stereo out,

i thik , you have to go an good shop for check your gearbox before to buy any, a new gearbox its already $ 5000 and maybe is a small problem

I got the same problem about a month ago.
I've changed the gearbox fluid and filter and it's OK now.
