ABS light originally came on, then the engine management light. Codes 1065 & 1075 O/S & N/S, speedo stopped working but sometimes it would flicker up to 30 mph then stop altogether. Found no ring sensor on N/S driveshaft and broken on O/S. Ques; Can I get just the ring sensor seperately from the driveshaft or is that the problem? check engine lights are a pain and unlucky there's no way to turn them off and pass inspection untill whatever the codes call for to be fix and jaguars are tough cars to work on and have expensive parts if you cant seems to get it fix i would suggest taking it to the dealer.
Hi, usually the problem is the` reader` which is the device which takes the information from the ignition key and sends it to the ecu. This reader is situated in the steering columm ( not sure exactly where ). Have the key checked as the code in the key could be currupted. Hope i have shed some light on this problem. have you moved the switch to leave the interior light on all the time?
have a look at this first,,, if its not that then it could be a door switch sticking on you or the light delay turn off device has gone short circuit on you it has whats called a "tryac" its an electrical switch in the light delay circuit that when it go's pop some times failes in the closed poshion leaving the light on for safty,,,

you have 2 computer codes that has to be removed find a mech with a code readed to tell you what they are. it could be something or nothing computers spit out codes sometimes when it gets damp out. have brake fluid checked engine light could be many things.
