Most modern cars require partial or full dashboard removal, you should ask a pro for a price. GL

Go to a auto parts store or a used book store and buy a repair manual.

SOURCE: htr fuse blown.no heater or blower working.blows fuse instantly

I would have taken it back immediatly and told them that it worked before and oesnt now since they worked on it and you would appreciate it if they at least looked at it.

If they refuse, then never go back and you will have to trace the problem using a voltemeter.

Make sure the fuse is the right Amperage.

Buy a repair manual from a auto parts saled store and see what else connects to that fuse, you could have a bad blower motor, or some other wire that got damaged durring the clutch install.

good luck

SOURCE: Water pump

Hello nedy...if you have the V6 engine, it will require the removal of the timing chain cover to access the water pump. The water pump is mounted to the engine block with 4 bolts. It is recommended that the bolts be replaced due to electrolysis (steel bolt in aluminum block) Replace all gaskets and o-ring seals as well.
While you are in there, you can inspect the timing chains, it has 3..and the chain tensioners. A Haynes repair manual would be helpful on this project and will have the correct torque specs.
Good luck...i hope this helps, please rate mr a fixya.

The heater on our 2001 Grand Vitara 2.0 Diesel has stopped working. it only blows cold air. How can I fix this?

on my 2001 vitara the heater core was no good, replacing it was an expensive pain in the *** so i traded it in. i did however disconnect the heater hoses and blast a garden hose back and forth
through the core several times which gave some detectable heat. So i am sure that my core was bad. I have since read however that there is a common problem in that the cool air blender flap gets stuck open and that a dealer can fix this in a jiffy. before attempting a replacement i would call a dealer and drop by to make sure that your blender flap is not awry. you can buy a repair manual CD on ebay for about 10 bucks.

Grand vitara radiator over heating

I have had brand new Thermostats that are bad. The way to check a thermostat is to boil it in water and see when it opens. You may need to have your radiator cleaned or roded out. You can also remove your thermostat and see what happens then I would start by flushing the system and see what you get.

Suzuki grand vitara 1999 hydraulic cylinder

Hydraulic leaks are typically a result of seals/o-rings wearing out. If you gave a leak coming from the cylinder you will probably have to replace the cylinder. Unless you are can do the repair yourself its unlikely that you will find someone who can rebuild it for less than a new one costs

96 suzuki vitara - radiator empties but no visible leak

Check the passanger side floor board for moisture this could indicate a bad heater core. Then I would check the engine oil and make sure its not milky looking (head gasket). make sure when you fill it let it run with the cap open with you looking into the cap to be sure is circulating and not vapor locked (air pocket)
hope this helps
