My 99 Kia Sephia is driving me INSANE! It loses oil pressure when driving for a while and light comes on. Cut the car off and crank the car again and light goes out. Light stays out until you drive

I have changed the oil and filter and used seafoam but nothing helped.

SOURCE: Check engine light on and O/D OFF light flashing

I was facing a similar problem when I bought my car, I think the "check engine" lit due to a problem with shifting control system which obviously made the "O/D-off" flashes. The best solution in this case is to replace the malfunctioning shifting control system (a closed steel box that works like a computer). This is what I did and since then it's running perfectly.

SOURCE: 2002 kia rio rxv check engine light came on again..

the check engine light is not caused by any wrong fluid level or dirty air filter or anything else like that, it is caused by well over 100 faults that can occur in the computer controlled electronic engine and emission controls, u will need to go to a Kragen or Autozone parts store and get a free OBD 2 fault code test to get the code that set your light.

SOURCE: 99 kia sephia, o/d light is flashing on dash

Hi. this is the result of a failed O/D shift solenoid that is located inside the transmission pan. you will need to drop the trans pan to access this solenoid. once replaced, the O/D option will become operational once more.

Please rate and have a great day:)

Why won't my car start?

Sounds like your oil pump may have seized. You'll need a gauge to verify this. The engine has a mechanism by which it automatically cut the engine off if there's a sudden drop in pressure. I would replace the pump. If you do make sure you prime it prior to tightening the oil pan down. A big question is why you were that low on oil. Good luck!

I have a 2000 kia sephia, the clutch pedal is losing pressure every now and then after driving for like 30 mins

is a master cylinder leaking inside or a slave cylinder leaking.
look under car and see if slave is leaking.
for my money I would replace both cylinders because if one is going bad the other will also be worn out.
