Land rover lr3 both remotes stopped working same day

I know exactly what it is, and ive seen this a hundred times before. Your sunroof water drain plugs up and water gets into the passenger side of the LR3. Right next to the passenger seat there is a plastic cover on the floor. If you pop that up, u will see tons of wires, all corroded. In that group of wires their is a two wire set that is connected by a splice.

What happens is water gets in that splice and the remotes no longer work. you need to remove that splice and resplice the wire together, that will fix your remotes.
