I have a almera tino deisel, 2002 ,2,2 engine ,wont run properly excessive white smoke ,and misfiring ,running only on two cylanders by the sounds of it ,had injectors checked all okay ,new glow plugs, turbo checked and fuel filter flushed and primed up ,starts okay but when you rev it ,it throws smoke out and knockes ,rattles and misfires ,i suspect a edc unit on pump can anyone help,thanks mark

It sounds like the catalytic converter. I had the same problem. What to check....after driving for a couple of miles pull over and look underneath at the converter, if it is glowing there is your trouble.

If you spray silicone in the tracks from the top open window and the speed changes faster I would say the channels are too tight. If no change then the voltage at the motor needs to be checked at 13+ volts. If not then the wiring at the door bend needs to be checked for fraying. If a garage does this job, then they should fix it right. It is not right. You paid for it.
