1998 Lexus gs 400 when turning a loud beeping sound & brake lock up

If the warning lights for the VSC and ABS system are illuminated while the vehicle is running, your vehicle is indicating a fault in the anti-lock brake and vehicle stability control systems. These systems utilize the same components to operate, so when a fault exists, it often causes both lights to illuminate.

A diagnostic test is required to troubleshoot these systems; I would suspect the "beeping" to be related to the lights being on, and the fault being present.

I have a 2003 lexus gs 300..the check engine light came on and the VSC OFF traction control came on and it stays on...i tried to turn if off, but the light just stays on

vsc shuts down any time check engine light comes on. repair engine light problem, reset computer monitoring system and vsc light will go off. must scan computer to pull codes for check engine light and go from there.

My engine light is on

when the check engine light is on it is to alert you to the fact that a trouble code has been stored in the computers memory, there are over 200 such fault/trouble codes so guessing is not an option, u will need to have the OBD 2 engine control system tested and then post the trouble code back here, there will be a code.

VSC/ Check Engine Light

My 2000 Lexus GS 400 just had the VSC/VSC off light and the check engine light come on. I would have to push the accelarator peddle all the way down to get it to go. Took it to the Toyota dealer and the code pulled up as the Throttle Position Sensor was out. Purchased one and having it put in. Will update if this fixes the problem.
