Brake light switch can be checked with a test light. Since the 3rd brake light is not working That's probably the problem.

I have a 2003 Chrylsler Town & Country. Yesterday I replaced the brake light switch and today it won't move out of park.

The brake light switch is not installed or adjusted properly, the shift interlock cable gets energized by a circuit through the brake lamp switch. This allows the shifter to be moved from park.

No brake lights, new bulbs. where is fuse box in 2001 town & country

If both of your brake lights are out including the third light above the rear door you should check 1: brake switch located behind brake pedal. 2: relays under hood although not a likely problem. 3: trailer wiring if there is any. Most likely it will be the first though as it controls all brake lights.

Brake light stay on in a 2006 chrysler town and country if the key switch is on

Check the brake light switch on both the brake pedal and the parking brake. Lots of time they just get out of adjustment.

If not, have your brakes checked. Sometimes the like comes on due to sensor in the brake system indicating a problem.
