Per windows /sunroof relay Buick Riviera 1996 location

Has no relay for the sun roof . Has sun roof control module . No relay for power windows either . Go to http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams , check it out yourself. Circuit breakers supply the Voltage for both . Do you know how to do basic electrical testing ? Videos on youtube .

These cars have cables 63224-and 63225 Lh and rh cables
the cable could be broke one or both the fuse first it also has a sunroof computor and-motor complex system I would leave it to a dealer they are -a'pain what you don't want to happen is you get it
appart and don't understand how to put it back and the roof stays open.sorry I would leave mine.nasty job

Could be the switch faulty or no power to it you will have to get a test light to check, check fuse as well.

Lost power to power windows, door locks and sun roof.. I can not find the correct fuse that i think has blown. I have looked everywhere and all of the fuses are just fine.. 1992 Toyota Camry V6 XLE

Most likely a broken wire in the harness from front drivers door...open up and cut off the rubber boot and fix broken wires...they tend to break after a few thousand opens and closes...then wrap with electrical tape to replace the rubber boot...Lee

Ground wire for 1996 Mercury Mystique is unplugged

in all sun roofs on most vehicles there is a motor that operates the unit. now green wire can indicate a ground, however they can also indicate a power source like for a tail light green is used for the right turn signal circuit. to be sure use a test probe to check for voltage to that wire if it lights up it's a constant current circuit. if the light doesn't come on turn the ignition and check once more. if the light comes on than it's an auxillary circuit. if there is no fuse then there might be a relay for your sun roof circuit. check the power distribution box. your owners manual will show you exactly where that relay is located in the box under the hood. in most newer vehicles they do not use fuses for electric motors for functions in the car but a relay to protect the circuit. check all this first before connecting that green wire. if ther problem still persists then contact me again and i will help with other possiblities

All in the main fuse box should tell you position of fuse on the rear of fuse box cover

A class merc,sunroof slightly opens then stops, semi auto clutch wont gear down into 3rd gear, can any one tell me what the problem could be???

check fuse F1.401, 30 amp in central junction box (in truck). Check your owner manual for fuse information.
Headliner must be removed to access motor.

Hi, I can help.

This is a common problem with Passat's. I see you checked your fuses and relays so we will move on from that.

You have a CCM Comfort Control Module in your car. This is a junction box of sorts that had the wiring for your electronics spidered through it. The placing of this was a real bad design because of it placement it gets water damage and the wires break etc.

With the symptoms you are telling me I would bet this is your problem. It almost always is with the Passat.

So now how to fix it. I know someone who did a fantastic write up on it with pictures and all. Here is the link http://www.headfuzz.co.uk/?q=vw_ccm

If there is any water underneath or any hints of water having been around the are then the CCM might need to be replaced. Check for broken wires etc loose connectors etc.

Hi, I can help.
