those are called DTCs , scan codes. diagnostic trouble codes.
The PCM looks for problems all the time running,
CALLED MONITORS (a sort of nanny)
all cars do this 96 to now, in USA. by law.
If no book or no mitchells try google (or the like)
if you had you'd have seen isuzu examples.

but as all techs, no, bad wires, happen all the time.
as do vast other reasons.
what I do , as the FSM states, clearly
is pick one failure and correct it, and sometimes gets them all.
like blown fuses do, on all vehicles.

1125 means limphome, is in force Low power too.
the TPS is acting up.
the 1515 means in English
that the Throttle angle and air flow dO NOT JIBE.
my jeep books calls that "incongruity": (nicer word)
or they differ. and should not.
i'd be checking the TPS voltages. for correct voltage.
this can fail for wires, rust, and bad sensors.
the word performance means it reads funny. (wrong)


we use a real scan tool and a real volt meter to see what the readings are on these parts.
why not get a real ASE tech to find it.
they know all that electronics magic,
ALL learn that there can be false codes.
one failure can trip many codes, but only one is the fundamental code.

or vacuum leaks cause many errors but not one
states vacuum leaks.

code p1120 refers tothrottle position sensor1--circuit malfunction---causes ---wiring open cuircuit--/short circuit to ground/short circuit to positive---throttlecontrol unit---ECM
code p0401 refers to exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) valve system---insufficient flow detected. ---causes hose leak/blockage--basic setting not carried out (if applicable)---wiring---EGR valve---EGR solenoid----ECM. I would replace the EGR valve for starters Get unit from the wreckers. You may have to have the CPu reset with a code reader tool

As the name implies, the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
would have to be on the throttle

Specifically--- the throttle body

I will hope you can follow the ducting to the
intake manifold & remove the ducting ,to expose the throttle
body

The TPS Sensor will be on the side & does not get
replaced as the result of any codes

You need to component test it

That involves back probing with a volt meter at
the very least & better yet an oscilloscope

That applies to all codes & all sensors

You can have other problems than a failed sensor,
& still get a sensor code,thus component testing

To remove the sensor you may need a hair drier to
soften the lock tight on the screws
Also you may need a T20 Torx or other tool to remove
the screws
Then you may have to remove & tunr the throttle body
to access the screws

I'am not familiar with your vehicle,so you got all the
possible generic possibilites

P0341 ISUZU - Camshaft Position Sensor Performance
Possible causes- Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor
- Camshaft Position Sensor harness is open or shorted
- Camshaft Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty starter motor
- Starting system circuit
- Dead (Weak) battery

DTC P1220 - Throttle Position (TP) Sensor 2 Circuit

This code indicate a open circuit on the throttle sensor, maybe an idea to wire the sensor direct to ECU, bypass harness and any problems it might have; if it works you then know your problem is in the harness.

P1290 = Elec Throt Control Particulate Bank 1 Idle, This means you could have a problem with your throttle body. You will need to monitor your tps sweep on a scan tool to check for spikes. Sometimes this code is set when the battery is disconnected and resets adaptations.

If it keeps coming back, you most likely have a bad TPS sensor.

Probably you mean a throttle position sensor commonly referred to as a TPS. They frequently go bad. Google "Isuzu TPS" for location diagrams and other info. Once installed, there are likely to be adjustments needed that require equipment. Any Isuzu dealer should have one in stock.

YOUR CODE P1220 UNDER 2001 RODEO SPORT AS A THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR 2 CIRCUIT FAILURE. THE ISUZU PART NUMER IS 8-97254-681-0

It may be a Throttle Positioning Sensor, or TPS for short. Is the engine light on, and if so you can get it scanned at any local advance auto or autozone for free to tell you what it is. If it's not the TPS, checking simple preventitive maintnence areas, like tune up, if it hasn't been done in a while, it's a good thing to do.
