SOURCE: NO FUEL GETTING TO ENGINE

It might be your fuel injectors clogged maybe.

Yeah, The fuel filter for a 2.2L plymouth reliant Le is on the passenger side just before the rear tire. Its like right next to the gas tank. Sort of in by the middle (not by the body frame). Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 89 reliant plymouth car stall out

You're right; It sounds like fuel delivery, but start with the simplest suspects first.
Change the fuel filter(s) first, and if this doesn't get it, go for the fuel pump.

SOURCE: where is the fuel pump relay on a 1989 plymouth

Relays are usually found in the engine compartment near the battery. You should find a small (square or rectangular) black box (usually black). Take off the cover and reveal the relays - the inside of the cover should indicate which relay is which - here you'll find the fuel pump relay location.

My 88 plymouth reliant has just stopped working. I have changed the spark plugs, wires, fuel pump, and fuel pump relay. i've also changed the fuel filter twice now. i've checked to see if it has spark and...

Check the ignition timing is correct. I see that you have changed the wires so I suggest that you recheck the firing order for the plugs as it is easy to get it wrong when replacing the leads.

My 1988 Plymouth Reliant has a skip in it, when I press the accelerator, it drives smooth and then randomly skips

If tune-up, (plugs and wires) fuel filter changed, throttle body cleaned etc, hasn't been done in a while, that would be a good place to start.

Car cuts out seems like its not getting gas,,,changed filter near carbuator, run for 2 days then same problem

most probably a buildup of junk in the tank that is clogging the fuel filter, try changing it again and pull the old one apart to see if there is stuff in it.

Changing Fuel Filter in a 1988 Plymouth Reliant

Hi there!

It's located on the passenger side of the car in front of the rear tire.
Change it in the morning, after the car has stood overnight as it will be under pressure otherwise, and need to be depressurised.
Have a bowl and rags handy to catch spilled fuel during this operation.

You will need a Spanner to remove the bolt holding the filter and pliers and/or a screwdriver to remove the hose clamps from the filter.
Remove the bolt and then remove the hose clamps. Slowly pull the hoses off the filter. Dispose of the used filter properly. Then reverse the steps to put on the new filter

If this proves useful, Please spare a moment to rate it as Fixya! Thanks.
