You only need a lug wrench and a flat head screwdriver. You first need to pop off the plastic covers on each lug nut with any flat head screwdriver (or anything hard and flat) then you can get the actual lug nuts below which are standard size for any lug wrench. I was also confused that the lug wrench that came with the car did not fit the outside plastic caps.

Most buy a four way lug wrench. find them at local auto store. tell them what you have and they should be able to help you out.

SOURCE: How To Change Rear Brake Pads on Audi A6 2006

Remove the tires, Remove the calaper bolts, (small heads on them 12mm or so) Remove calaper, Pads are setting in a holder. Lube new pads with litheum grease and place in holder. (look at old pads, one or both may have small metel tab on one end) If the new pads have the tab, put that pad where the old pad with the tab was. (ie. tab to the inside) Press pistion in with a 'C' clamp. If it won't go in easly, it may screw in. If the parking brake cable is hooked to the calaper, it probly screws in. Use large pliers to screw in calaper piston. Place calaper over pads and install bolts (lube bolts) Rember to pump brakes befor driving . to get a solid peddle.

SOURCE: i need a wiring diagram for an audi a6 towbar electrics, can anyone help? please email [email protected]

The best solution is to use a Vehicle Specific Wiring Kit, as these cars have complex electronics that do not like being overloaded, Also the car has towing specific safety systems (such at Trailer Stability Program) which only work if it knows it is towing. The car will need to be coded to recognise the towbar wiring and work the saftey systems properly after the kit has been installed. It's not cheap however, Expect to pay around £200-£250 for the whole job.

I've been having this problem also. I took it to the dealer and they had to load a new update for the mmi system. Luckily mine is covered under warranty.

The other solution is to turn the car off and disconect the car battery for 10 minutes-and then the mmi will reset itself. The problem, however, is that the issue will probably happen again.

Just get the right tire range to fit the lug nut size. You
