I had a similar problem I thought it wasn't the fuse because I had only checked one but there are two cigarette fuses. Also you can replace the whole cigarette lighter if it is getting power to it. If it isn't there might be a bad wire leading to it. Get a test light to see if it's getting power through the fuses hole.

SOURCE: how do you replace a fuse for cigarette lighter in 1999 chevy mal

The fuse box for the 99 malibu is right next to the battery, under the hood. It is a 30amp "mini fuse". You can find a chart for which fuse to which circuit, by looking at the lid for the fuse box. This is one of the things I like about the car. If you are using the cigarrette lighter for smoking materials, clean the ashes and residue off the cigarrette lighter (when its cool) with a brass brush, outside the car. Do not let cigarrete material build up in the lighter or it will short.

Open passenger door, right side fuse panel behind panel door on end of dash. Replace fuse marked C/LTR.

Testimonial: "Thanks for the advice. Didn't realize there was an entire fuse panel in another location."

SOURCE: cigarette lighters not working

UNDERNEATHE THE HOOD THERE IS A FUSE BOX THAT IS COVERED ON THE PASSANGER SIDE FIREWALL. REAL EASY TO GET TO.
TAKE TOP OFF AND TURN TOP UPSIDE DOWN AND READ THE CHART TO SEE WHICH FUSE BELONGS TO THE CIG LIGHTER AND CHANGE IT OUT. REALLY SIMPLE. GO TO AUTOZONE AND ASK SOMEONE TO HELP IF YOU ARE UNSURE. THE FUSE IS SO TINY ALSO!

Where does cigarette lighter fuse go on a 2010 ford focus

The cigarette lighter/power outlets on a 2010 Ford Focus are referred to as, "power points." The are two power points on this vehicle, designated as power point 1 and power point 2. Power point 1 is powered by fuse #15 (20A) while power point 1 is powered by fuse #3 (20A), both of which are located in the battery junction box at the left rear of the engine compartment. I try to find cigarette filter to replace the filter because my cigarette lighter doesn't work ( Toyota Camary LE 2000). I couldn't find it Thank you Somsak

Do you mean that you are looking for the fuse? The fuse for the cigarette lighter is located in the fuse block under the left side of the dash. it is marked "CIG". It is a 15 Amp fuse

NOTE: This fuse also powers your clock, air bag sensor assembly, remote control mirror switch and your shift lock. If this fuse is blown, you will also have problems with these items.

Your vehicle is also equipped with an auxilliary power outlet (Which looks the same as the cigarette lighter socket) it is powered by the fuse marked "*1" If this fuse is blown, only the power outlet will not work. This also is a 15 Amp fuse. (See picture below)
