With car in off and all doors shut turn key to on position then within 5sec press the accelerator pedal 3 times

there is a standard tow bar and a 2000kg for genuine tow bars
you need to remove both tail lights,the bumper bar and reinforcement bracket, spare wheel and exhaust hangars on rear mufflers, remove the tie down bracket on LHS chassis rail(dont need this or the bolts that hold it on), so you can then bolt in place either of the 2 tow bars.
genuine wiring patch harness for trailer plug is my suggestion since its plug straight into vehicle and interfaces with vehicle, goes in right hand rear compartment remove lid then remove box, interface connector for trailer harness is there.
instructions can be printed out from dealers if you ask
some new kits dont come with instructions in kits because information is on dealer computers
there is a template to print out to cut hole in bumper bar for tounge area of tow bar, uses centre square dimple in bar but its a bit wider.

you can get a odb2 this will take it off ,but their might be a reason for it going on could be as easy as a faulty gas cap ie air getting in I will make error come on
you can take off the - on the battery that's - negative on battery keep it off for 5 minz ,you will need to reset the time ,this will also work I just use a odb2 .
