Does the 50A fuse happen to go to the alternator? Try disconnecting the battery cable from the alternator with the 50A fuse plugged in. If the draw goes away, you need a new alternator.
You need to do a parasitic draw test with a amp meter hooked up in series with negative battery post an negative battery cable ! Check how much draw there is an then pull fuse's till you see the draw go away . Find a wiring diagram of power flow for that circuit to see what all is powered by that fuse . ??? are you certain its that ??? that fuse will most likely control all the power in the fuse box and the 3.5 amp you see that's called the parasitic draw will most likely be that of the cars computer..
3.5 amp wont drain a battery over night nor in a week i'm assuming you have at least a 500CCA battery here.
battery's don't drain like that, they do loose power once they have a bad cell, or the battery water is low. I'm assuming you had it tested here by a technician from the battery shop and that's what they told you and its a new battery or relatively new..
to test this your self you can take the battery out of the vehicle and leave it outside over night, you will see the power is drained out and it wasn't connected to anything. Thats because of the bad cell..
To prove it to them, Remove the caps If its not a sealed maintenance free one and you will see bubble coming out of the bad cell once the car is idling.. (don't inhale the fumes or let it get in your eyes)
Not sure what you mean with this: "solenoid alternator " If you installed a rebuilt unit, it may still have one leaking diode of the six which can cause this.Having a single bad diode won't stop the alternator from being able to recharge the battery but if the reverse resistance isn't near infinite, you will have the problem you describe. Pulling and replugging one fuse after another and watching for a change in the current drawn should help you isolate the circuit still drawing current.If this didn't cause any change, I would have the alternator tested again.
this is teh generally most over looked problem, 99% of the time the glove box light stays on and you would never see if from inside the car. try removing the bulb and see if that solves your problem
