Look under the body on the drivers side near the door
If not there, you should be able to follow the fuel lines

If it's a 2.0D engine the diesel filter is in the front of the engine. It has a small metal protector over it for the case of a crash.
It is a black plastic "bottle" with two pipes on the opposite sides - left and right. It also has a connector - for the fuel heating.
