I have recently completed oil filter and oil change service and I want to reset the service reminder alarm.
I am not familiar with that model but most Toyotas reset like this.
Tune the key off. Pess and hold the odo/trip reset button while you turn the key to the run position (do not start the engine). The odometer should change to all dashes which will disappear one at a time then change to all zeros and then back to the mileage. Release the button as soon as the mileage is displayed.
Sometimes the trip A needs to be displayed before you turn off the key to start.
Your owners manual should have this info as well.

SOURCE: service reminder
You can reset it manually. Make sure the car is off, then click the ignition over to ON (do not turn over the engine). Press the INFO button until you see the service reminder (should be a wrench with 3 dashes by it). Once you see this, press and HOLD the INFO button for 3-5 seconds. The reminder should add 6 months and 5000 miles.
SOURCE: fuel filter location
The oil filter is in an aluminum cylinder on the engine. It is not a "spin on" filter, it is now a cartridge-type filter. When you get one, make sure that you use the new o-rings provided in the filter box. The fuel filter is in the tank. Hope this helps, the graciousness of a FixYa rating would be appreciated. Thanks.
SOURCE: How do I reset the "Oil Change Warning Indication" on colorado
if you have a owners manual read it. try coloradofans.com website and search the forums. i think johnny5846 is right if you don't have a DIC (driver info center). i believe you use the DIC(tripodometer). i don't know the sequence off hand, you can also you can change your lock settings and alarm settings, etc. with the DIC.

You should have a trip/odo button and a seperate reset button on the dash. Press and hold both of the buttons and push the start button with your foot off the brake until the accessories are turned on. You should see the display change to dashes like the above.
