Does your temp gage seem off does it go like up to the h because if it does you could try unpluging your upper coolent sensor because that could cause that because it is telling you computer to run in closed loop when it should be running in open loop

SOURCE: WHEN MY JEEP GETS WARM AND I TURN IF OFF IT WONT START BACK UP

When this happens, have someone listen under the car and see if the fuel pump is coming on. Either the pump or relay may be going bad.
An easy check for the relay is to see if there are any non-essential relays with the same # on them (like a fan relay) when your'e having the problem, temporarily switch the two relays. If this helps, then replace the relay. Before condemming the pump, replace the fuel filter (often neglected), and do pressure tests at fuel rail to see what you are dealing with. Note: it does not have to be fuel... A bad coil or crank sensor can do essentially the same stuff so, don't jump to conclusions before making tests!
good luck

SOURCE: jeep grand cherokee stalls after warming up

You need to check components again when the engine is hot and in no-start condition, otherwise, you will get bad info...obviously whichever part is doing this works fine cold. ones that react most to heat are crank pickup, ignition coil and the fuel pump.(bad ones get hot and bind up)

SOURCE: 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Keeps stalling, engine

P0505 means the whole Idle Control system, not only the IAM. Check all related sensors (i.e. crankshaft sensor). Check with a voltmeter direct at the connector of the IAM if you get any signal. Remove the IAM from the TB, connect him, let someone switch your ignition key to ON. The IAM need to drive in/out for a short time to find the right position. Hold the IAM near a hard part, that they cant drive out completely! If IAM works fine, check the fuel pressure, check and clean your TB ( if not done yet). If that doesn't work, come back again please

Have you scanned the system for fualt codes? An O2 sensor will never cause the engine to stall out like this, NEVER.

check intake manifold air temp sensor and engine coolant sensor...one may be out of range but not enough to turn on dash light. tests and specs can be found in chiltons or haynes, test is done with digital multi-meter.

Engine runs fine, no problem want's tempature is

I had a similar problem with a Ford Excursion, it turned out to be intake manifold gaskets. It would stall then start right up again, it ran fine during warm up. But, once fully warmed up it would stall at stop lights and stuff like that. I did get a check engine light, the code was lean condition. I don't know on a Jeep, sorry I can't be of more help.

Car stalls

Here is the most common cause of surges and stalls and low idle, it is the idle speed control air-bypass valve and throttle valve (IAC for short), they get full of gunk over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.
