check the level of the power steering fluid.

Vehicle Speed Sensor is IN the Transaxle-is your ecu indicating VSS circuit is open? Check out Nissan Forums.com If so, most likely, the sensor is bad or unplugged.Circuit includes sensor,wiring from sensor to the ecu,and the ecu itself.

Sounds like a power loss to your fuse box. Check your connection at the battery for faulty fusible link.

Take a few minutes to make sure you dont have a blown fuse....Run through them with your test light...

you might want to check the brake pads. it might be thin enough to make the wear indicator touch the rotor disc.
