My 2001 volvo S80 T6 seems like both turbos stopped working. The car runs fine there is just no boost. It feels like a regular 6 cylinder now.

The car was blowing some white smoke.. I looked at the air intake and it was very dirty. Cleaned it out and put a new air filter in. The smoke stopped. About 3 weeks later, it seems that there is not boost from the turbos. The car runs fine, no smoke but no boost either. Could both turbos be bad and the car still run fine? Could it be a vacuum leak? I can't find to much on the internet about this.

Turbo overboost. Erase and go easier on gas pedal. It happens on my '02 t6 from time to time.

2001 VOLVO S80 T6. Failed sensor caused transmission destruction.

They are solenoids that go bad. If you replace one, replace all four solenoids. The kit costs about $100 on ebay. It is a difficult job gaining access to the inside of transmission. Pay someone that knows how it's done.

I have a 2001 Volvo S80 T6 tha has DOHC with turbo. In the engine tag it states 2.738 as the engine size. Is it equivelant to 2.8? The mechanic wants to make sure before he starts putting it together....

i would say yes, they probably listed the exact displacement in cc's which times 1000 gives you liters. it would come out to 2.74 liters and manufacturers usually round up to the next whole number so i would say that 2.8 sounds right.

Turbo Boost sensor A

hi what was the code (p 0244)sounds like you need to replace the the turbo wastegate valve .sounds to me like its overboosting as if the charge from the turbo gets too hot the engine will misfire thus causing damage to engine ,the waste gate valve is there to prevent over pressurisation

1999 volvo s80 t6 code 237

That is a manufacturer-specific code that indicates that the "Turbo/Super Boost Sensor A Circuit Low Input". Not sure how to fix though... Either short or fuse. Good luck.
