2004 chevy caviler ,working fine ,then engine light blinking,shaking when stop at red lights,little louder sound smell,tail pipe,i never put oil in the car,would that be a reason ?

Engine light blinking,shaking Has a misfire bad enough that will damage the catalytic converter . Bad coil's , plug's , ignition module going bad . Have the vehicle checked for DTC'S diagnostic trouble codes .

Car shaking, engine light blinking, engine misfire. just had tuneup & oil change.

Chec plug wires maybe bad connect or on wrong plug..causin a dead cylinder. Common mistake if a mechanic doesnt testdrive

Check engine light blinking car shaking, oil light on after a few miles from starting

May be low oil, low oil pressure (faulty oil pump) or a bad pressure switch. When your at highway speeds the pump, pumps faster & brings the oil to the right PSI. Try a thicker oil than called for, get the oil pressure checked,oil leaks? & get the switch ckd out.

My 2007 kia sorento engine light came on with sluggish and steering wheel shaking then suddenly it speeds up.i change cam shaft sensor,ignition coil,plugs and carb spray.car now jerks when stationary

You need to find out what the code is that is causing the check engine light. Have you verified that the spark plug wires are in the correct order?

Ok my car needed oil so i went to autozone. The check engine light came on and started blinking. I turned my car off and put oil in. Then I turned it back on and it started to shake really bad.

need a tune up spark plugs ,oil change .oil ,air filter change

When i step on the gas pedal it shakes and the service engine light comes on blinking

Please check your engine oil- hope the oil change was done recently , if not check the quality of the oil, it can be reduced oil pressure at high RPM that the oil pump is not working well due to a clogged oil filter.
Secondly check the fuel settings and firing timings.

What does the engine service light mean?

It could be unrelated to the oil change unless the filter must be replaced with a mitsubishi one due to the backflow prevention valve built into it.

Have the codes read at autozone and see what they say.

Your engine has a cylinder miss-firing, that not only shakes the car but makes the check engine light blink the cylinder number that is missing, don't drive the car this way or u will overheat the exhaust catalytic converter, this can cause a fire.
