Windshield Water Spray

My Acura 2004 MDX has a windshield sprayer is not spraying. I think the head of the sprayer must be frozen. Is there anything I can do to allieviate this problem.

Get some rainx (or other brand) winshield washer fluid, it contains antifreeze to -30 F.

For now put a good really warm almost hot rag on the part where the fluid exits, and wrap any exposed hoses (that connect to the fluid outlet) with a hot towel. Keep reapplying the towels until the fluid sprys normal. make sure to empty what ever is in your washer container and replace with the above mentioned fluids.

Volvo c70 windshield sprayer not working

Try disconnecting the tubes from the spray head (under the hood). The press spray button, if nothing comes out, you have a bad pump. It liquid is pumped, then you need to clean or replace the spray heads - they are clogged or damaged

Good fues and new washer pump. still not pumping fluid. Not frozen either. Wipers and controls seem to still work at trun signal arm??

The little pipes that spray the windshield washer fluid clog very easily. Use either a very thin piece of wire or a very small drill bit (a welder's "tip cleaner" works perfect!) to clean out the sprayers. Use only 100% bottled washer fluid and not tap water since the minerals will clog up the sprayers.

Make sure the rubber hoses between the pump and the sprayers did not pop off or split. If your fluid level goes down but you get no spray it is going somewhere it is not supposed to.

When you activate your windshield washers, you should be able to hear that little pump run- it makes a very distinctive sound. If you do not hear it, there is a wiring problem.

Are you aware of problems with windshield wiper fluid working? Mine isn't spraying on window, thought it may be frozen even though I have -40c fluid and its topped up - it was +4c yesterday and it still...

Check to see if the sprayer motor is working you would hear it making sounds like it wants to spray. If it is working then you need to check the hoses running to the sprayers on the windshield wipers and make sure that the hoses and the spray nozzle are not clogged with dirt or frozen.
