I HAVE A ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ON DASHBOARD WHICH INDICATES EMISSION PROBLEM CAN I STILL DRIVE IT UNTIL REPAIRED IT IS A SOLID LIGHT
If the engine light is on and blinking it could indicate one or more cylinder misfires and should not be driven. It could cause engine or exhaust damage.if the engine light is on solid and the vehicle is running ok you should be able to drive it but get it checked very soon
As long as the light is yellow and not red you are fine to drive . The yellow is just a caution light . If any red lights come on thats when you need to stop or not drive it

Have the sedona scanned at an AutoZone or similar place and ask for code. they will not tell you whats wrong with it but they will give you a code. You can go from there. You can come back and tell us what the code is .

Not necessarily catalytic convertor. this happened on mine recently and it just needed a coil replacing. Costs about £87 at a Renault garage if this is the case

There seem to be 4 sensors along the way in the air intake and emissions system.
My Check Engine light indicated a bad sensor 1, bank 2 code (I think).
I had my mechanic replace the sensor that was indicated as faulty... cost = $191.
Then the Check Engine light came on again (with a different code), and I had to leave the van with him all day.
Cost to replace and install that sensor = $115.
My advice: if the Check Engine light stays on *AND* your vehicle is riding rough, get it fixed.
Otherwise, put a piece of tape over that Check Engine light and save a couple hundred dollars!
Hope this helps, I do trust my mechanic fully.
